"Edisto Boil"
A bowl created for a display in the Edisto Museum's
celebration of the traveling Smithsonian exhibit
"Key Ingredients: American by Food."
The bowl celebrates wonderful low country
cooking with the ever present shrimp, corn, onions, clams, and little
red potatoes boiled together with friends, family, and lots of
seasonings. Just looking at the bowl will make you
hungry for great food, an outdoor fire, and good companionship.
It reflects the many nights spent next to Steamboat Creek
with very dear friends
when we were young.
